About RAAF Darwin Golf Club

The RAAF Darwin Golf Club was first established in 1970 using land to the west of the Darwin airport. Volunteers constructed the course from humble beginnings into the high quality nine hole layout that exists today. The club is a Defence Welfare Club that provides golfing facilities at an affordable rate to Defence members and their families. The club boasts a strong Defence and civilian membership which is renowned for its social atmosphere. The main golf competition is held on Saturdays with social, nine hole competitions held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The Defence Interservice Golf Competition is held annually at the course.
